The Men’s Club exists to instill a deeper knowledge of our Catholic faith, the personal sanctification of its members, to be an active participant towards the beautification of all church properties, to foster the interests of St. Stephen’s Parish and to promote harmony and cooperation within the church and the community. The Men’s Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM.

After electing officers, St. Stephen Catholic Council of Women, had its first meeting on May 16, 2000. The group’s purpose is to promote friendship with unity and true Christian charity among our members. To further the spiritual, social and material interests of the parish, the Women’s group organizes social activities and fundraising. The group holds one yearly retreat. Some meetings include a guest speaker or entertainment; for special occasions we have dinner meetings. The group has day trips for members to relax and socialize and encourages participation of friends and family.

Top of PagePATH MINISTRY

The PATH Ministry (People Acting Together with Homes) is our parish’s effort to keep in touch with all our parishioners. As the parish grows, it is important that no one gets lost in the crowd. A PATH Minister is the local contact with our parish staff. As a PATH Minister, you will be asked to make two contacts a year with between 10 to 20 fellow parishioners who live in your area. The two contacts would be before Lent to drop off materials relating to our Lenten Program and in the fall, to drop off materials about any upcoming parish activities and school activities.

No financial appeal is part of the PATH Ministry. One or two meetings a year will be held. The area coordinators will help in the organization for the two yearly contacts. If you are interested in this ministry, please contact Deacon Chuck at the parish office at (708) 342-2400 or e-mail him at dcnchuck@ststephentinley.com
