On behalf of the parish and staff of St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr, we extend condolences on the death of someone you love.
We are prepared to assist you in planning a Mass of Christian Burial or a Memorial Mass. Funeral times are available in the morning, Monday through Saturday. Visitation before the Mass in the narthex is available on Friday and Saturday. -
Funeral Fees
Mass - $400
Visitation Fee - $200 an hourMusic Fee - $150
Bench Services Fee (if outside musicians are brought in) - $100

Funeral Readings
Families will be asked to select one Old Testament reading and one New Testament reading.

Music for Funerals
The pastoral assistant will meet with you personally and has a list of scripture readings and music that are used for funerals. Outside song suggestions are welcome, but they must fit into the sacred realm; popular ("pop") music is not permitted for a funeral liturgy. Outside cantors and instrumentalists are also welcome, but they must make contact with the music director well before the day of the funeral. The pastoral assistant can put you in touch with the music director if you have any specific questions.
